This Privacy Policy explains how FlixPlay IPTV handles information when you use the app and this website. FlixPlay IPTV is a player for user-provided IPTV sources. We do not provide, sell, or host channels, movies, series, playlists, or media subscriptions.
Depending on how you use the app, we may process account information such as your email address, user ID, and sign-in provider. If you use Premium features, we may process purchase and subscription status provided by Apple StoreKit.
The app may save app activity and preferences, including favorites, watchlist items, likes or dislikes, playback progress, completed watch history, active playback sessions, device name, device identifier, platform, subtitle preferences, audio preferences, playback speed, and simultaneous-screen settings.
IPTV provider details, such as server URLs, M3U URLs, usernames, and passwords, are used to connect to the source you enter. The app stores provider credentials locally on your device using Apple Keychain where supported. The current app does not sync IPTV provider credentials to our cloud database.
We use information to sign you in, operate the app, restore purchases, provide Premium features, sync playback progress and preferences across signed-in devices, limit simultaneous playback sessions, improve recommendations, provide support, and maintain app security and reliability.
The app uses Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore for sign-in and cloud sync, Google Sign-In when you choose that option, Sign in with Apple, Apple StoreKit for in-app purchases, The Movie Database (TMDB) for media metadata, Wikipedia for some public cast images, and YouTube for trailer playback where available. These services may process information under their own privacy policies.
When you connect an IPTV provider or playlist, the app sends requests to the provider source you entered. Your IPTV provider or playlist host may receive your IP address, credentials, playlist requests, stream requests, and other connection information according to your relationship with that provider. FlixPlay IPTV does not control those third-party provider services.
FlixPlay IPTV does not show third-party ads and does not use your data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Local data remains on your device until you remove it, clear local data in the app, or uninstall the app. Cloud-synced account data remains until you delete your account or request deletion. You can delete your account in the app from Profile or Settings > Account > Delete Account. You can also contact support at egesarisac@gmail.com.
We use Apple platform security features such as Keychain for local credential storage where supported and Firebase services for account and cloud data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect information appropriate to the app's function.
FlixPlay IPTV is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date above shows when this policy was last updated.
